The Home Pregnancy Test that I saw at the Dollar Tree.

And no, I'm not in the market for this, but it sure caught my eye. :earseek:

One day at a Dollar store I saw "vibrators". I almost fell over. :earseek:

Another one is deodorant...Not for me but to each their own. I get mine at the drugstore:D

I sure wouldn't buy a pregnancy test there either! The other items I keep my distance from is the strange food items sold in dented cans. I think they once even had MRE (meals ready to eat) which was military surplus!

Reg,....I dunno...for a buck I'd probably buy one just to totally
freak my DH out!!!!!;)

Are you sure there's not something you'd like to tell us Regina??

;)

:teeth:

LOL Corinne!!! :teeth:

Umm, no Willy, sorry. If I did need a pregnancy test, I'd have three wisemen heading my way because it would be a miracle.;)

Dollar Store vibrators??? I see some potential for the "worst Christmas gift" thread.:p :p :p

The food just scares me. Some of those expirations dates were valid during Roosevelt's tenure. :D

Kind of similar to the HPT, but I once saw a bin full of contraceptive sponges at the dollar store. They were 'Today' brand and had expiration dates on them that had passed!!

I don't think that would be an intelligent birth control choice.

:o :p

I don't think I would buy any of those either. Yikes!

:earseek: :earseek: I just started shopping at dollar stores! My mother is the dollar store diva! I better look at what she buys a little more carefully. You never know what she would think those sponges are for! She would use them as stampers or something. :earseek:

OH Maggie, LOL @ your mom using the sponges as stampers! Hee hee hee.

We have a store in New England called Ocean State Job Lot (Gail knows about these, I am sure). They ALWAYS have MREs. Tons and tons of them. My DH wanted to buy a bunch as gag gifts for everyone last Christmas, but I prevailed.

That's the store I was talking about......hmmmm........MREs as stocking stuffers...or Secret Santa gifts..I like that!!!!

All those funky off-brand canned foods. I would never chance it. If I need cheap canned goods, I'll buy the store brand at my supermarket. And eeewww - there always seems to be an overabundance of off-brand canned clams and other nasty seafood. Yuck!!

Nope. My all time favorite are the foreign, off brand canned goods. So unless there is a picture, or you read the language it's a roll of the dice to see what you get. ;)

Kind of like when the grocery store puts all the cans with missing labels and sells them for a dime or a quarter.

I usually don't buy food items at dollar stores, but did buy a chocolate bar...a Belgium chocolate bar....for DH and it was really good, smooth, delicious chocolate. Went back to get more a couple weeks later but they were gone. :(

I do like to get stocking stuffers at dollar stores though. :)

COFFEE!! Ok, I was Desperate....but It did NOT taste like Coffee!

Pregnancy tests are sold at your dollar store???? LOL, Regina.

About the only I've bought at our dollar store were a bunch of those rain ponchos, I use them and throw them away.

I should visit our dollar store and see if they have anything interesting these days :)

never saw the pg tests there, yikes! LOL

I do find a lot of good stuff there, though. I bought this cleaner there called AWESOME and its great stuff! Great stain remover!

Childrens No Tears Shampoo..

Take your pick:
Guava
Watermelon/Lime
Orange/Avacado
Cherry/Lemon
Grape/Apricot

One whiff of any one of them and you would need CPR... Ick!!
