guuuuuuurl you have NO idea. i work in a music store and the ppl who come in and think they're so intellectually superior because they like vampire weekend, julian casablancas, peter bjorn & john, radiohead, tom waits (the list of hipster music-snob elitist bands goes on and on and on)
and i do in fact enjoy most of that music, but i just HATE when people act all snobby and holier than thou because they like "deep" music makes me LOL everyday.

my favourite thing is when some uber smart snob comes up to ask me if we have a certain CD and they go "you probably haven't heard of this band but do you have...[insert "indie undergroud" and/or "old school unknown" band name here]" i just LOL

LOL. oh my gosh, I can just picture people doing that in my head and it is making me laugh so hard.

basically, if you remember her, the saratogadreamin girl got fed up with people ignoring her pictures of SYF & people reposting pictures 5 times and getting "worshiped". and was all "did you guyz ever notice this board is just like highschool!??!?!?!?"

she was being a total nut case, little did she know around ten of us disers were in an AIM chat just dying laughing at her. we all posted a picture of ourselves on syf.. 5 times xD

then on her yage thread we were kind of messing with her & after awhile she completely flipped out on me and told me that i was the one she was reffering to about the "worshiping" thing. so of course everyone whipped out their smilies and such nonsense XD
