We are going in early feb with a 5 year old, 3 year old and infant. Originally we are booked at courtyard by Marriott in a kids suite. But I'm wondering if there is a better option. I would really like a kids suite, so we can spend a few moments alone since dh is coming off a deployment. But looking for other suggestions. I just haven't hear many reviews about the hotel we are staying at.

If HoJo's has their kids suite open, it would be perfect for your family. Your 5 and 3 year olds would love the Pirates Cove water park. But they have limited numbers of kids suites, so you should act fast.

Depends. We sometimes get bouts of weather in the 70s in Feb (or even higher), so there's a chance. But normally, no. Still, if your kids are like my DGD the polar bear, they'll swim in any conditions. :lmao:

I don't know where the Marriott Courtyard is, but HoJo is a 5-8 minute walk from the gates. That directly translates to time saved from not parking/waiting for shuttles.

We LOVED our stay last Sept in the Kids' Suite and already booked it for next April. You get two full bathrooms, two full bedrooms, cute Disney theme decor, a mini-fridge, Keurig coffeemaker, and microwave, and it's reasonably priced. Good luck finding a great place for your family and THANK YOU and your family for your service for our country.

Never stayed at the hotel you booked but we were very happy with desert palms hotel and suites. We stayed in the kids suite since the parks closed early. I did not want to sit in a dark room at bed time. As long as I don't find a better deal I would book it again.

Try the Marriott Residence Inn on Harbor Blvd. They have had great military rates in the past. You can get a 1 bedroom suite with a kitchen and the 2 kids can sleep on the sofa bed. There is a door dividing the 2 rooms and they both have tv's. Plus you get free breakfast and Monday-Thursday night dinners. Not sure if they still have free ice cream on Mondays?

We have loved Hojo! We've stayed in the 2 Queens and the Kids Suite. Both were wonderful!:goodvibes
