OK, I've called Chip and Dale rats and Captain hook a cod fish. Has anyone gotten a really good reaction from a particular line?

Thanks in advance. My kids will enjoy it.

I don't know if I'd consider this a "line," but we got a very funny reaction from Eeyore during our Crystal Palace lunch when I told him he looked like he needed some ice cream. He sauntered up to the ice cream dispenser, turned his head upside down underneath the dispenser, pinned his ears back, opened his mouth wide, and proceeded to act out dispensing the ice cream into his mouth! He was very amusing during the entire lunch. At one point, he sat in a child's high chair and started riding it around the restaurant!

We "talk" to the characters who can't talk, using their own language (exagerated gestures, etc.) At DLR, this worked great, because then they "talk" back, esp. with Minnie.

This is one of my favorite Disney stories - I was not involved but I witnessed it and like all of the other adults around me - we all got misty at how cute this was. About 4 years ago I was on Main Street and there were a bunch of characters out. While watching all of the kids with the characters, I saw a little girl (about 3-4) in line to see Pluto. Her mom had brought a small ziploc bag with a dog biscuit in it and a label with Pluto's name on it so her daughter could give it to him. Well - let me tell you - Pluto made such a huge fuss over the little girl - she was just so happy and mom and the rest of us adults were all crying - it was just adorable. Now THAT is Disney magic at it's best.

Call Chip, 'Dale' and vice versa :)

This thread could get very interesting!

"You're much better looking than Dale."
"You were 10 times better than Dale in Rescue Rangers."

(Same deal for Dale)

I've also said to characters except Mickey that they should have their own theme park.

And I invited Mary Poppins to meet me at the Rose and Crown to get away from all the kids. She didn't say yes, but she seemd intrigued!

When we were at Donald's Breakfastasaurus in August, my dh started talking 'duck' to Donald. He has always been a very good 'duck' talker and just couldn't pass up the chance to impress Mr. Donald. Donald was hugely impressed....hopped all over the place, grabbing his tummy and pointing at dh!! This went on for about 3-4 minutes. Now, my dd was completely mortified by this behavior. Donald is jumping around, pointing to her father, shaking all over and there is her dad, talking 'duck' to Donald as if they were the best of friends. The whole place was in stitches.

If you want a good reaction from Hook and Smee, wear a tinkerbell shirt. I did that a few years ago, and didn't even realize it. I was taking my kids pictures then Smee started poking at me. I looked down and realized it, and then they were pretending to kidnap me (much to my childrens amusement) and I told them Peter Pan would save me. They didn't like that one bit!!! My kids loved that, and still talk about it.

I hear the princesses get pretty peeved if you call them the wrong name.....

Last summer when (while POTC was hot in theatres) we had a family picture taken with Hook and Smee. I stood next to Hook and said sarcastically "You're hardly Captain Jack, but I guess I'll stand next to you!" He turned his head so sharp and shot me a 'look' like he was insulted, yet what was so funny, was that he still had that permanant smile on his face!pirate:

Hmmm....I like that idea. I bought a Tinkerbell shirt recently. :scratchin

Last year is was just DH and I. The entire section we were sitting in was all adults. Meeko came to our table and I had NO CLUE who it was. (OK, ok!!) Anyway, I told her I didn't know who she was and she made a big fuss....had to get a child to tell me! It was hysterical. Of course, my DGD at home got a kick out of the story and assure me that on our upcoming trip that won't let that happen to me again...they say they'll "save" me! :)

Never tell a villian that someone in your party is too scared to meet them! We saw the Snow White Queen and Jafar together together in Fantasyland, but my nephew was too scared to approach them. So, I went up instead to get their autographs. I told them how my nephew was hiding nearby with his Mom, and the Queen demanded "Bring us the child!!!!!" I tried to argue no, but they woud not listen! She sent Jafar with me through Fantasyland to find my nephew and bring him back to the Queen! It was so funny, walking through Fantasyland being personally escorted by Jafar! Thank goodness we found my nephew and he was thrilled we brought a character right to him!! :teeth:

Another great way to get a reaction is to ask characters where other characters from their movie are. :)

I've heard rumor that the best character reaction comes when you ask Donald Duck if he's yet learned to control his temper. His reaction is supposed to be one of his famous duck tirades.

I haven't personally tried this yet, but will be seeking out the duck next time we visit.

So, who is Meeko?

2 stories,

the first I witnessed. We were waiting in line to get our pictures taken with Lilo and Stich and stich started acting weird. He kept pointing at the little girl in front. Apparently her shoes were on the wrong feet and since he couldn't talk no one really understood him. He finally sat down with the girl and pointed to her feet until her parents noticed. (stitch also tried to steal my DBF's backpack when he told him he wanted stitch to come home w/us.)

The 2nd is my fault(and i apologize to all the tigger lovers for this) It was our first night and we were getting pics with some of the characters. My DBF's nieces loved it, I was just happy watching at that point, but then I saw Eeyore a personal fave, so I figured I would just get a pic with him and not clog up the line for the rest. Well tigger took this as a personal attack for a good 10 MINUTES! so finally I said I would take a pic with him and he gestured NO! It was so funny. But I got a pic anyway!!!

One night at Epcot it was the end of a long day in the parks. As we were leaving, we ran into Mickey, Pluto and Donald just outside Spaceship Earth in some pavilion area (it's been a LONG time ago). DS who was about 3 at the time was wearing a Mighty Duck's t-shirt. DS said something about how he liked Ducks a lot. Donald was all proud about how DS was wearing a duck shirt, and he started "rubbing it in to Mickey" that DS wasn't wearing Mickey on his shirt. Pluto couldn't take Donald picking on his owner, so he started defending Mickey. I got great pictures of Pluto with his hands up "fighting" with Donald while Mickey was trying to "break up" the fight.

This past summer I wore a Stewie (from the cartoon show "Family Guy") t-shirt on a day I went to MK and Epcot. I've never gotten so many amusing comments on a shirt before, from cast members and nearly every character I took photos with. :teeth: Goofy and the Country Bears seemed to like it the most, jumping around and giving me the thumbs up.
