What have you NEVER done at DLR?

Davy Crocket canoes, Innoventions,
seen Fantansmic . will this next trip
BTR.. Will also do this trip..

yeah this trip is sooooo close now,.!

I thought of one other thing, beside the drawing class in the animation building. I've never had one of those big ol' fancy caramel apples. I've always wanted one but they're so HUGE!

Same here - they look great but probably too messy and so big!
I've never seen The Aladdin show!

The canoes are awful! It is really hard and you get soaked by the kid in front of you! :rotfl:

I'm surprised to see so many haven't done the canoes, but then again, I'm not. It's one of those things that you have to do at least once for the experience, but once you get off you will think to yourself, "WHY is that an attraction?!" What I find funny is standing along the water's edge watching them go by, with the poor CM paddling like mad while everyone else sort of splashes water all over the place out of sync.

DL:
had a dole whip
walked thru Sleeping Beauty castle
musical chairs with Alice
Innoventions
Roger Rabbit Cartoon Spin

CA:
Redwood Challenge Trail
Goofy Sky School
Animation building/Turtle Talk

There are quite a few things I haven't done, so I will limit this to things I want to do but haven't:

DL:
Riding the trolley car
Hall of Presidents
Canoes
Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough

CA:
Trolley

I just thought of a big one that I have never done and always wanted to: Ride the Lilly Belle!

My list is pretty long. In my defense, last year's trip was the first in about 18 years.

I've never, but hope to:
DL
rode any of the ships
Eaten at a sit-down restaurant in the park
Trolley car
Hall of Presidents
Canoes
Space Mountain
Indi (I know!! I plan to do this and SM this year)

DCA
Redwood Challenge Trail
Tower of Terror (maybe...we'll see on this one)
Animation Academy
The swings ride

there's probably more I can't think of right now.

I've never and never will:
had a dole whip in the park (I can get them here)
Ride that wheel of death big fun wheel whatever it's called. I'm terrified of ferris wheels!

Too many to list. Some by choice, some are things I've only recently learned existed and some just get skipped in the interest of keeping a group happy. (I need a solo trip.)

To be fair, though, I have made an effort the last few trips to try new rides/shows/restaurants. If I don't get to something, well, there's always another trip, right?

I so far, have never gone skinny dippin in ROA. And I haven't gone streakin like the wind, well, more like a fast breeze, across Main Street USA. A tourista once, she
happened to be from a warmer, balmy climate, I believe it was Miami, FL anyway, just could not take the heat one day while visiting NOS, with much wild and unbridled passion, put on a show that would have rivaled the great Gypsy Rose Lee! Only minus the large, feathered fans.

:faint:

Disneyland:
A few of the Main Street vehicles
Sailing Ship Columbia -- seems like the only time it is running the park is packed and so is the line.
Lilly Belle

Club 33 used to be a bucket list item, but after eating up the Court of Angels -- one of my favorite spots in DL -- I no longer care about it.

DCA:

Red Car Trolley ( I will in June though)
Francis' Ladybug Boogie
Heimlich's Chew Chew Train
It's Tough to be a Bug!
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
Jumpin' Jellyfish
King Triton's Carousel of the Sea
Mickey's Fun Wheel

I have often refred to DCA as a half-day park, but maybe if I went on the above attractions, it could be a full day.

:rolleyes1

Nah

I have never ...

* Ridden the trolley in either park.
* Stayed in hotel on-property.
* Paddled those dang canoes. (That looks like work!)
* Ridden Tower of Terror. (But I suspect my husband is going to wear me down on it this next time.)

I just FINALLY had a Dole Whip my last trip and holy mother of all that is good in the world, it was amazing.

Stuff I haven't ever done at DL, but would like to on our next trip:
  1. Columbia sailing ship
  2. get silhouettes done of my kids on Main Street
  3. ride 1 of the Main Street vehicles
  4. Splash Mountain - but everybody else in my family will likely chicken out! LOL

Stuff I haven't done yet at DCA, but would like to:
  • Aladdin musical
  • Frozen sing-along
  • Red Car Trolley
  • Radiator Springs Racers
  • Turtle Talk with Crush
  • Grizzly River Run

DL attractions that I have no desire to get on: :rotfl2:
  • Astro Orbiter
  • Davey Crockett canoes
  • Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin - did this 1x on our last trip and that was enough. Didn't like the movie & the ride was weird & creepy. Kids didn't like it either.

DCA attractions I have no desire to EVER get on: :rotfl:
  • Tower of Terror
  • California Screamin'
  • Golden Zephyr
  • Mickey's Fun Wheel in the swinging cars

I always make it a point to ride EVERYTHING, even Heimlich's chew chew train LOL. That being said, I haven't been back in 5 years, so I haven't seen CarsLand at all, ridden little Mermaid or "new" star tours. Need to see Mickey & the Magical Map as well.

I don't really care about restaurants (just give me some food so I can keep going!) , so I've never done Blue Bayou, Napa Rose or anything along that line. Having 3 young boys kind of made that an impossibility even if I wanted to. Even now that they are getting bigger, they aren't impressed with the "ambience" of Blue Bayou, so it's not a priority for us.

I have not done, but hope to do on the next visits:

Disneyland
- any of the Main street vehicles
- moments with Lincoln
- Innoventions
- astro orbitors
- fantasy fair area /shows
- Mickey and magical map
- either of the boats
- canoes
-fantasmic !

DCA:
- all of CARSLAND !!!!!
- Redwood creek trail
- Grizzly River

There are lots of resturants that I have not eaten at. but the items I really want to try are:
- Bengal BBQ
- Plaza Inn Chicken
- mickey beignets
- tigger tail
