Hi All, :wave:

I've learned SO MUCH by reading these boards and I would love to know what other people have learned also!

Here's what I learned about:

Hotwire Savings Club
All about vouchers (we saved a ton at Beaches and Cream!)
ING
UPromise

Also learned what the heck Disney concierge means on the resort board!

I've learned about

ING
Pal Mickey Swaps
Brita Water Bottles for in the Parks
Over the Door Shoe Organizer for Resort Bathroom
And those wonderful Baby Care Centers

Thanks for sharing the info everyone!

ING accounts ($75 in interest and referrals since January alone!)

eBaying my way to Disney (not as hard as I thought)

Using Amazon to sell stuff as well (haven't tried it yet, but I am going to)

Getting a PS for Cindy's Royal Table (harder than I thought, but totally worth it)

Most importantly, that MANY other people (besides me) spend way too much time dreaming about WDW

Tons! I can't remember it all now!

-Hotwire Savings for Meal Vouchers (and now I buy $4.50 movie tickets there too)

-Usually the first news I hear on resort codes is here

-Tons of little-known secrets/Hidden Mickey Info

-ING Direct

-TDS and disneystore.com sales, codes, etc

-GREAT yard sale & ebay tips

-Misc tips about Disney restaurants & how to cut costs

The list goes on and on! :)

My thanks to everyone!

I was totally oblivious to all things Disney before I came here. I feel like a pro now!

* How and when to make PS

* Preferred rooms at POP are not necessary (saved $60!)

* Which PS's are the hardest to get (now have CRT, WTP, PC, PSB, LTT)

* Brita water bottles (bought 2)

* Shuttle transportation from airport

*TDS online shopping codes (saved a bundle)

*Disney Dollars

*Mousekeeper envelopes

Wow, thanks to everyone, I have learned a lot!

* ING Direct - saving for our next trip
* Brita Water Bottles
* Detergent Tablets - which I didn't know they made
* Room Codes - which I didn't know they had
* Utimate Packing List
* Helpful Packing Tips
* TDS Discount Codes - love them
* Use Earplanes when flying

and much, much more...

What haven't I learned! Our first trip to Disney cost us a bundle (worth every penny), but now I know lots of secrets thanks to DIS and I know that saving that many penny's for Disney World isn't necessary!

- taking snacks in the parks can save you mucho dinero!
- codes, codes, and more codes are available for saving money while staying on site.
- mousesavers.com is an awesome tool for looking at historic resort codes so that you can get an idea about good travel dates if you are trying to cut costs! :)
- allearsnet.com is excellent for planning where you are eating and the best times to visit Disney World with historic low attendance rates!:)
- there are other people out there that are crazy about Disney (it's not just my family :crazy: ) ::yes::
- ING is a great way to save money and to get a little bit of referral money too! :teeth:
- I have learned what PS's are worth getting (in the eyes of the DIS peeps), how to go about getting them, and what to do when you don't get a PS on your first try (the first time we went to Disney World with my DD #1 who was 17 months I waited untill we got there and then tried to get a seat at CRT for one of the following 3 days I think the CM would have laughed if he hadn't been so polite :earseek: )
- hotwire savings for vouchers which I will be using for the first time!
- Hidden Mickey's are everywhere (even in food served at restaurants near your home or so I have read while lurking around here :tongue:

Kelly
Proud to wear my lime green!

Sooo soo much! I just learned about ING how great is that??? Pal Mickey swap was helpful and fun! Ebay of course.

with all of the above-mentioned tips, i have learned that i CAN go to disney world every year-maybe twice a year!

much to dh's chagrin...::yes::

I have learned so much, but the 2 best tips for me are

#1 ING.... I used to just put any survey, rebate, etc. checks into the checking account. Now when one comes in I deposit it into the bank and immediately transfer it to my ING account. I opened my account last month and already have $335 in there. It totally blows my mind how easy it is to save with this account!

#2 Disney Visa.... I opened my account last month and got the $50 bonus rewards. I am now using it instead of my debit card, I immediately deduct the amount from my checking account and will pay it off every month.
