OK, now one that I may be the only one (or, actually the record holder.) I think I can say, with little fear of being trumped, that I have consumed more Kirin Ichiban's while sitting on the bench inside the Tin Toy Story display, watching the looping video of John Lassiter.

Often, I spend most of a Saturday strolling World Showcase while my daughter completes her mask at each country. I pick up a beer or two along the way. One near-always-grab is an Ichiban in Japan. I'll park it on that above-described bench, while she masks.

For those wishing to beat my record, you'll need to down at least 30 Ichibans there .

Let's see...

Got to go into "mission control" on MIssion Space at Epcot, and help control the ride, pretend play with buttons, and make announcements. As well as being escorted right onto the ride, no wait.

Had the entire crowd of Fantasmic sing Happy Birthday to me.

I told a CM I had never met prince eric, and he was dreamy and my favorite prince. Later that night, at Cinderella's Royal table, Prince Eric presented me with my magical moments certificate. ive never cried harder in my life.

Got free fast passes to every ride at Animal Kingdom, and a free complimentry 8" by 10" photo on dinosaur, all because it was my birthday.

Me and my friends serenaded the the waiting room of The Voyage of the little mermaid, by singing Part of your world, and a pirates life for me.

I have so many more.... My trips to disney are always incredibly memorable.

Hubby and I had to put off our Honeymoon for a year and of course chose WDW. LOL Anyway, we went to AK on May 15th, 2000 (which was also our actual 1st wedding anniversary) and saw that they had a standby line for the taping that day of the Rosie O'Donnell show.

I knew she would be at Disney but thought she was supposed to be at MGM. We decided to give it a chance and waited in the line hoping to get in. Luckily they had room and we were able to watch her show which was held on the Tarzan Rocks stage. We had a lot of fun and each got huge goodie bags. Rebecca Romijn Stamos and Macy Gray were two of the guests. Everyone in the audience also got that days admission free.

After a "tough" day at Epcot, we head back to the International Gateway then to the walkway to Y/BC. We have cocktail hour at a little outdoor lounge by their pool (Hurricane Hannas?). There's usually only a couple of other people there, if any. It's one of our best kept secrets and one of our favorite ways to relax at WDW.

I don't know if this is unique but we had some rather "interesting" interactions with characters. One trip as we were walking out I saw one of the bears from the CBJ, looked at him and said "you scare me," at which point he proceeded to blow me a "rasberry" !

On our last trip while dining at the Garden Grille, After Pluto did some clowning around, I told him that he was worse than my puppies at home. He asked what kind of dogs we had, and what their names were. He proceeded to leave the table so he could get a napkin and write Pluto *hearts* Matisse (one of my dogs). I still have that napkin

I have a couple, although they're not truly unique.

Like a couple of others, we took what we thought was a short-cut, leaving CR one night, and ended up driving through a large area of maintenance buildings. We passed a guard shack, and ended up on a two-lane road. We finally turned around, went back the way we came. When we passed the guard shack again, the guard came out, and stopped us. He wasn't concerned about safety issues, he just wanted to laugh at us.

Years ago, when I worked for The Coca-Cola Company, we went to WDW. The Company had a "VIP" lounge in the American showcase at Epcot. While touring Epcot a big thunderstorm erupted, so we ducked into the lounge and waited it out. It was a nice way to chill for 30-45 minutes.

Like others, we've been the last on rides. My DW and DS6 rode Pooh several times in a row, to the point that, every time they came around the beginning, all the CM's would gather, wave, and holler, "Hello, Pete!".

For customer service, no one beats Disney.

Last, its not unique, but its my most memorable: Sitting on the pavement in front of the castle with my family, getting my goodnight kiss at the end of a late night visit. It was a wonderful, wonderful way to end the best vacation I've ever taken.

While watching the New Year's Eve fireworks at midnight on December 31,1999, we decided to stand in front of Space Mountain so we could ride one more time after the fireworks before we left (all of the rides closed that night during the fireworks). We did not even realize we were at the front of the line until a CM approached us with a certificate stating that we were the first people this millenium to ride Space Mountain. We were then escorted to the Control Tower of the ride to see how it worked, and finally we were given a ride with no other cars on the track.

My youngest DD was celebrating her BD at 50's PT. Steve Tyler, his wife, DD, Tommy 2 Tone and their body guard was seated in our dining room. So when it came time for all the cousins to sing Happy B-day to Cousin Megan she was serenaded by Steve and Tommy. It was absolutely outstanding, then his DD brought my DD over her BD card (supplied by 50's PT) signed by everyone in their party to "Cousin Megan".

On another trip the CM at SM took a liking to the same DD (she was only like 11 so it wasn't like he had a crush on her) and radioed ahead so when we got off the ride they sent us down the back way so we could get on again right away, like 5 or 6 times in a row. And this is the DD that hates to go to WDW, she only goes along like once every couple years.

Was your daughter old enough to appreciate the experience? Even if not, what a THRILL for the grown ups. This stuff never happens to me

After Rita Moreno's Last preformance of Candlelight, it started to rain, I watched Illumination's while being showered by a downpour. If Disney does one thing right, it's fireworks. I was almost brought to tears.

In 1986, while I was screaming on the Matterhorn at DL, my husband proposed. And then in 1987 we had our honeymoon at WDW. Great memories!

Acted as Exec. Producer for a staged theactical show that involved multiple characters (with mulitiple costomes which had to be flown in from around the globe)-both face and other, live music, equity actors, lighting, sound, special effects, still photography, video photography, television coverage, and, Bob Iger & Roy Disney were in attendence.
I think that's pretty unique!

A few unique moments....

...after missing our 9/12/01 flight to WDW for obvious reasons, DW, DD, Dneice and I made a 1,300 mile trip and drove into WDW on 9/14/01......we WALKED INTO CINDERELLA'S BREAKFAST, we rode all MK mountains several times in a row without geting off of the ride, and had similar experiences on RnR, ToT and Fast Track....

....DW, DD, DFinLaw, DMinLaw and I were selected as Grand Marshalls at the MK in Jan '04.....

.....we've had numerous other special moments at WDW with Guest of Honor badges, character encounters, parade and show-participation opportunities, and most especially with WDW's excellent CMs.....on our Nov '04 trip, DD missed a pin trade with a CM manager for a collectable Xmas pin by one trader, we were standing in line to meet Santa in the American pavillion when this happened; a CM pointed this out to the manager who came and spoke with us, he explained how the pin was part of a very rare retired Xmas set, asked about our plans for the remainder of the day and told DD not to worry...that night at dinner, the CM manager appeared at our table with the complete pin set for our DD which he gave as a Xmas gift.....WDW wouldn't be WDW without their exceptional CMs!

I was in the audience for the filming of two WDW Christmas shows.

In December 1983 (maybe '84), there was a holiday show at Epcot Center called Holiday Splendor. The show was hosted by Carol Lawrence and was staged at the American Gardens Theatre (in front of American Adventure). The first performance of the show was taped for the Disney Channel. One week after I got home, the show aired on the Disney Channel and there were several shots of me in the audience. I still have the video tape of the show.

In December 2001, I stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. One afternoon, they were filming a segment in the lobby of the resort for that year's Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade. There was a family whose son was in the military and they were filming their reaction to a taped greeting by the son. When the segment aired on 12/25, there I was in the background with other guests!

one of my fave memories would be when rock and rollercoaster was previewing one summer. NO ONE knew it was being preivewed. my brother, myself and about 10 others discovered this. we kept going back in line all of us together and we all would fit in one limo. our group rode atleast 6 times in the hour. we had the entire intro memorized and we were acting it. our fave part was "make it a SUPER stretch" we used to talk to "chris" who got joe perry's guitar. and my favorite part was one guy made up a dance to walk this way and we all walked HIS way into the line to ride the limo. it was so much fun.


ANOTHER....way back in the day my brother and i were picked to ride the bee from honey i shrunk the kids. on that same backlot tour i saw a filming of MMC starring justin, britney, christina and company.

I don't know how unusual this is or if they even still do it, but one year my DD was sworn in as president at Hall of Presidents. She was so shy & embaressed, but loved the special pin they gave her.
