Hi everyone! So it's been about 14 years since I last cruise with DCL :( I would just live vicariously through trip reports posted on social media. But that's all changing finally decided to book one (a last minute one at that) and will be going in April - 4 day Cabo on the Wonder. Just wondering what have I missed these last 14 years!

Palo - loved it, specially brunch! But from reading some trip reports, the buffet is no longer there (due to covid) which is a bummer as I think that's what made it so spectacular. I was looking at my old post and when I went I only paid $10 for both dinner and brunch and now it's $45. With brunch how is process since it's no longer buffet? can we keep ordering or we can only order 1 time. sorry i'm a newbie again lol

Kids club - last cruise my first born was 3 weeks shy of turning 3 and so was always with us. Now I have 3 DS (17, 12, 8) who will be going on their first cruise at least 2 of them will be first timers. Can the boys (12 and 8), can they go in and out anytime through out the day (of course I will have to check them in/out)?

Rainforest - anyone know how much?

Restaurants - before it was Tiana's it was Parrot Cay. I can't wait to try Tianna's as I love beignets and loved that I can get them on board haha

Tips - do we need to pre-pay? I honestly can't remember what I did last time. But I do know or remember reading something that gift cards like a visa gift card or even target/walmart is well received by DCL staff. Is that still the case?

Disney GC - can I use that in lieu of putting my cc on file? I read not sure if it was on here or on FB but someone was buying disney gc every paycheck ($100) to use for the cruise and i thought wow what a great idea and if I'm able to put it on my KTTW I will not have to pay interest rate haha.

ok I think that's all my questions for now. oh and I didn't think my acct with disforums was still active but when i logged on it worked (can't believe i still remember my pw too haha) ok thanks for reading this far!!! have a disney day!!!

Palo is a flat $45 for brunch, and the buffet has not returned. For brunch, you may order as many items from the menu as you like. For dinner, you can order the prix fixe $45 meal or do a la carte.

If your 12-year-old goes to Edge (the tween club) there is no sign-in sign-out process. They come and go at will. You may give your children sign-out privileges at the Oceaneer Club/Lab, and can decide whether the 8-year-old is mature enough for that.

Our last Wonder cruise was a 7 night Alaska and the Rainforest pass for the week was $144 for a single. A 4-night cruise would be less. You can inquire about day passes when you board. People have reported that Rainforest passes are available for pre-purchase on the Wish, so you might check if this is also available on the Wonder. It would be on Onboard activities under the spa category.

Gratuities covering your serving team, dining manager, and stateroom host will be $14.50 per person per night of the cruise. These can be pre-paid or they will be automatically added to your onboard account. Extra gratuities in cash are always appreciated by crew members.

Yes, you can use a Disney gift card to pay for your onboard account. You would need to visit guest services to apply the card to your account.

Tiana's is great! You can also get beignets at the French Quarter lounge which is on Deck 3; I think there's a morning special for coffee and 2 beignets although they are also available throughout the day.

It looks like you got your answers, but welcome back! I'm sure you will glad you cruised again. :thumbsup2

The use of the DCL App. You will need it and will have to use it for things. Even the mandatory health check in form is now down on the app the morning of your cruise before you even get to port. It's as important as your room key card, for good or bad depending on your opinion., it just is these days.

You will love Tiana's! They also redid the Promenade Lounge to a Tiana theme so spend some time in there before dinner. It is a beautiful space.
