What have I done?!?!?

Invited Mama and my aunt (fondly known as The Sisters, or Miss Mamie and Miss Emily) over to the house for supper tonight so they can see all the changes being made in the house. Of course they would love to come over but we need to tell you something first....oh no - what now????

They will have my niece and nephew with them. WHAT?!?!? The niece is okay - 11 YO and a joy to be around. The nephew is turning 3 tomorrow and is quite the handful. My house is definitely NOT childproof and the new sofa hasn't been in the house a week. Sigh.

Just don't feed him chocolate or grape juice.....water and macaroni with cheese should be the bill of fare for the little un.

Can you set up a little Japanese type table for him? Perhaps rent him some Disney movies or something and have the table set up near the tv. Good luck Missy.

Shannon, the only problem is the TV is in the room with the sofa...

Itsa - absolutely no juice or chocolate. I'm trying to figure out how to rope off the living room...only problem is, that's the walk-through to the rest of the house. Hey, maybe I could "pen" him up on the deck...

Tony - I think every sheet, blanket and tarp I can get my hands on will be going on the sofa!

Supper will be cubed steak, mashed taters and gravy, fresh squash, either green beans or broccoli or both and homemade biscuits with a homemade peach cobbler and breyers ice cream for dessert.

Dont have a solution to your problem. But supper sure sounds good. I will be glad to bring my 3 year old to come and play and we could eat with you. LOL
