What has the wait times been for Navi River ride just before closing?

We did our FP+ today and was able to get FOP. I made one for the Safari at 9:15 so don't think we will have time to do standby for Navi at rope drop. If the park opens at 9 do they let you in early to Pandora? If not just wondering what the wait times are usually just before closing. We wanted to see Pandora at night anyway and the FOP is in the morning.

You will have time in the morning. The park will open around 8:30/40, and very few people will go to Navi first thing.

Your safari FP+ also is valid til 10:15, plus a grace period.

Following, as this is what we plan to do too and I'm interested in others' experiences. Our FP+ day isn't for several more weeks, but the plan is to get to AK around 12 or 1 in the afternoon, FP+ FOP late in the afternoon/evening, and get in line for Na'vi 15-20 minutes before park close.

When we were there in November, we did AK on an EMH morning and were being let into Pandora by 7:40 or so even though EMH wasn't supposed to start until 8:00 am. We were at the back of the pack heading into Pandora, made a bathroom pit-stop, and still walked on to Na'vi, so I think you'd be fine getting to it in the morning.

Good to hear. Then I think we will try to do it at rope drop then head to the Safari. We will just come back later at night to see the lights. Maybe ride again if a short line. Thanks.

If you are in line to enter the park by 8:15ish, you should be able to do NRJ twice and still have plenty of time to get over to the Safari.

We were there in September last year and were able to get on Navi River at closing with a walk on. It was posted to be about 35 minutes but it was no where near that. We didn't stop walking until we boarded the boat. We had a FOP fast pass for earlier in the day and wanted to see Pandora at night so this worked well for us.
