And don't tempt me as i have an awful day today both at work and then at home....can't explain, much too long a story, but 2 weeks in Florida does sound very nice! Wonder who would walk my dog, feed my guinea pigs and take Lucy to school...I could sort it out even at this short notice Actually the suitcases are down from the loft already for Scotland so i could quite easily be ready for Friday.

I could always try and keep the wife drunk or give her the credit cards and tell her to go mad with them (oh wait! thats a normal florida holiday!! )

Like the Dingle family on Emmerdale - they always keep coming up with long lost cousins! Even Coronation came up with a sister for Violet (who said she had come from Manumission in Ibiza, even though this closed in the middle of September )

We go to Crieff Hydro every year from Boxing Day until New Years Day....it is lovely when we get there, but not wanting to sound ungrateful, it is a bit of a bind packing during the run up to Christmas and taking all sorts of clothing from walking the dog outfits to bikinis for the spa. Have you ever been there?

Our friend is the gamekeeper at the nearby Abercairney Estate so DH goes shooting all day, Lucy joins the kids club and I take the dog for a walk all morning and then go to the "Adults only" spa in the afternoon (see we have loads of quality family time in Scotland just like Florida!! ) Kara thinks we are all very sad and is going to Tenerife for 2 days!!!

The XF is on Top Gear this sunday (23rd) in the (in)capable hands of James May

It is in the paper today that Tata, the Indian car manufacturer are on the verge of buying Jag & Range Rover. Leaving on a couple of British manufacturers.

It is in the paper today that Tata, the Indian car manufacturer are on the verge of buying Jag & Range Rover. Leaving on a couple of British manufacturers.

Its a fight between TATA, Mahindra & Mahindra and a management Consortium headeed by Jacs nasser. TATA asre the leading company, as M & M want only Land Rover and Nassers team may not have enough finance.

They are not "British" now, as they are currently owned by Ford.
