What has Obi been driving??

Same as my wife, won't look at anything that's not a Range Rover or, at a pinch, a HSE Discovery. We have compromised that she can only change them now every two years.
She had a BMW 530 Tourer but hated it. Did not like to be so low to the ground and enclosed.

I don't like tourer's at all.
She might have like the car we had in Vegas last month, Dodge Nitro, great car for a few days especially driving to the Grand canyon and back, what a rough road. We prefer low to ground, would never have anything like this at home.
1st pic is before trip to Canyon 2nd on way back, a little dirtier at Hoover dam, glad it was not mine with the hammer I gave it.:scared1:

Obi,
So would you recommend the Jag, I've got to change the Merc next year and this was on my list as wel as the CLS.

I would.
Its better than the S Type it replaces, that could be "squirrly" on wet roads, I almost spun one when I laid down the power. The XF was much better on country lanes in the wet.
They are saying that it will have a strong residual cost as well
It's in the showrooms in January, I would get a test drive then, see what you think. there are I think four petrol and one deisel angines available.
The seats are very comfortable, and I drive a Range Rover normally with the big armchair seats.

Wayne,
the Dodge Nitro is coming to the UK next years isn't it?
I gather that Chrysler have dropped the PT Cruiser with a couple of other models in their rationalisation programme

No idea, never heard of it until last month. We normally try get a Dodge Charger but fancied something like this for the rough roads, we had a lot of fun that day, dont know how many times DW said slow down!!!. :goodvibes

Now Obi I am confused, i thought that because of your extensive airline knowledge you were a VIP in the aviation industry not electronics, now i know you have been a pilot cos i saw a photo of you , so go on tell me what do you do? and how come you know so much?

What do automotive vehicles and aircraft have in common? :goodvibes
What is used in both? :goodvibes

Lovely car. DH has the XK, very nice to drive too.

What about a Galaxy bazzanoid?

The Galaxy is a little bit too big for me - 90% of the time it's going to be carting me around only, 5% of the time it'll be a load lugger and the other 5% will be holidays / family trips etc...
