What happens if you have an adr and you don't show up?

Unless you had to give a credit card to guarantee your reservation (like for a Fantasmic! package, California Grill, etc.), nothing. They give your table to the next party.

Please call and cancel as soon as you know you are not going to show up for your ADR. Don't wait to the last minute to do so. Someone else may be needing that ADR.
I just read on another thread that the restaurants \were not allowing walk ups.

Yes I agree, if you are in the parks and aren't going to make your ADR call the dinning line and cancel or if your ADR is in the park/area that your in stop at the podium and let them know.

There are so many people there that want ADR's they couldn't get or didn't know they needed to make them. You could add a lot of pixie dust to someone else's trip!

Of course if its an ADR that you secured with a CC they will charge your CC.

I wouldn't miss an adr on purpose, I am just worried about our arrival date and missing our adr for our arrival day. Our last two trips, the planes have been delayed and ofcourse I could not get a later time for the restaurant I wanted on that day. Just not sure if we get delayed I will make the adr. I also don;t want to worry about cancelling if I am on route on the flight, etc.

I believe Disney plans that a certain percentage will not show up. Try to call if you can.

Our last trip, I came down with a stomach virus (most of the family did later in the trip) and we ended up missing an ADR in AK... I was worried~ I am the planner and did not think about getting someone to call and cancel...but nothing happened... things do happen and come up....maybe all our flights will be on time this trip!
