What Happens when you use a coupon code for Alamo. com and dont necessarily have it w

Hey everyone,
I am a disney bank one visa cardholder and have recently received a discount flyer for alamo that has a specific id number on it that will give us a minivan for 199.00 a week. However, we do have that one but have recently misplaced a coupon code that we receive in a statement a while ago that takes off almost another 30.00- the code is FB22- so I am wondering if it will be a problem if I dont have it with me? Any help is greatly appreciated and yes I will be paying with my disney visa and will have the other id number discount with me.
PS*** what does it mean that you must leave a cash deposit in addition to to the cost of the rental or does that only apply to someone who is not paying with a Credit card? Any help is appreciated THANKS

Without the coupon you will not get the benefit of it. They collect the coupon at the time of rental.
The question about the cash deposit applies only to cash renters.

also, you cannot mix codes and coupons. IE: Bank one code with Sam's club coupon. They system will take it, but, they will not honor it when you get the car.

Yep, better get that coupon, or reserve with someone else. Alamo will charge you whatever they can; without the coupon, you're just another sucker. We stupidly left our coupon in the desk at home, and paid a much higher rate than we should have.

What a shame!!!! At least they do make it clear that you will need it at the time of the rental.
Did they charge you the quoted price without the coupon? Or, did they really jab your for a higher rate?

When are you going? I have a two week rental from Dollar (also onsite) that is $299 including all fees (MAG code--can print free Magic card). Unless you're going during a high demand time $199 doesn't seem that wonderful.

In August we rented from Alamo. Luckily I had the coupon with me because the info in their computer was different than what I had from the coupon, even though I'd entered the codes when I made the reservation. I keep a folder with all my reservations printed out and coupons stapled to the printouts, etc...

You might call Disney Visa and see if they can send you a replacement. I have a coupon from them for $199 minivan and double reward dollars you can have but it doesn't sound like that's what you're looking for. PM me with your address if you want it. Good Luck.

I have a reservation with Dollar with the MAG code. I just went on to check rates and the weekly rate had dropped to $128.99/week for a minivan rental. I modified my ressie and they applied the MAG code on top of it. Now I have a one week plus a day rental with tax for $185.
Yeah!!!

My rates just dropped again, too. I have 2 two week ressies. My fullsize dropped to $263 and my minivan to $292. I can't believe how much the rates have dropped!

i just got a rate of $147.27 including taxes and fees for a minivan for a week. I went through the entertainment book site and used the $15 coupon. I have not rented from Alamo before dpes anyone have any info on them? I usually use National but their rate with discount was $245.
