I'm sure there is a thread out there about this.... we are going to WDW in May for 7 nights and on night 4 my DS will turn 3 years old. What happens to park tickets/ dining plan ect...??? He will be "free" for the first 4 days. Will I have to change tickets to show him as a 3yr old (child admission) for the last 3 days ??? :confused3

Thanks for your help as always :yay:

You are fine. Disney considers the age at arrival to be the age for the entire trip. Your DS is free for the whole time. Have a wonderful trip!

Yup, you are fine. My dd turned 3 while we were there, wore her b-day button and everything and we had no problems at all. We didn't do the dinning plan, but I wouldn't see how that would be any different than the tickets. One guy at the turntiles even asked how old dd was, and I told him she had turned 3 and he said happy b-day to her. No question what so ever about her not having a ticket.

Whew! Okay... one less thing to research and worry about. I guess going during that week is really a perfect thing..... squeeze one trip in before DS becomes "of age" Not many "deals" out there when it comes to Disney, so I will take this one :cool1:

If you have a 3rd birthday meal (OOP), you may be charged for that meal. Had DS's 3rd birthday breakfast at Chef Mickey's, and they charged him. He didn't actually turn three until just after we got home, so we told them this was just his celebration meal. They took the charge off our bill, no problem

I heard that if your child turns three while you are there the parents have to put on hat and do a silly dance.
