What happens to seller and ROFR?

I have read many posts about the difficult and time-consuming task of waiting to pass Disney's ROFR. I know that from a buyer's standpoint, if Disney does not allow the resale transaction, the buyer has to start looking all over.

What happens to the points from the seller's perspective? Does Disney actually purchase them from the seller? What price would Disney offer to the seller? Does the seller get a check from Disney?

Just curious....

Disney purchases the points at the price the seller and buyer had agreed on.

As Don said, the seller gets the identical deal to what was agreed upon by the buyer. In theory, the seller loses nothing (except for the getting knowledge that they probably could have gotten a higher price for their contract).

Yep, it's true...the only one that suffers from ROFR is the potential buyer. :furious:
