I am about to buy dd6 another 10 day no expiration ticket, but what happens if we can't use all of the days and extra visits before she is 10? I think we will, but if not, can dd2 use her days?

First, if your ticket was bought when your daughter was a child, and a couple of days remain after she turns 10, I don't think anyone would think ill of you for allowing her to finish off the ticket before purchasing her first adult ticket.

If you would be uncomfortable with this scenario, a younger child should be able to use the ticket. When I buy a ticket for one of my grandchildren, I ask for the ticket to be issued as a "child's" ticket, rather than including the name. I didn't have any problem with this, even when we were staying in a value resort. I just did not have the ticket added to the resort key.

Disney will not penalize you because the child got older. When the child is over 9, just take the child and the ticket to the ticket booth and they will exchange the ticket for an adult version with the same number of days remaining. No extra charge.

This only applies to partially-used tickets.

I don't remember where I read it but Disney doesn't penalize a child for getting older, the ticket belong to them and can be used even after they are "adults".

the family. I have 2 children, young. They told me that they are good for 30 or 35 years I forgot which but that even when they are 20 the children can use the ticket because they have your scanned in finger print of each member when you go to the park, And not interchangeable to each family member.

You don't even have to exchange them for adult tickets. My DD, 14, still used her child's ticket without any problems. (Still trying to use up all those "plusses")

i actually asked if I had to upgrade a childs ticket many years ago. Guest Services said NO, to just use it!

Yes, you just continue to use it. I'm still holding a child's ticket/hopper for our now 14 yo grandson. Maybe he'll finally use it this August.
