What happens to my dining reservation if I switch to DVC?

We have a trip planned for late July and are booked at a Disney resort. I just booked a dining reservation for the trip today at our 60 day mark. We just purchased DVC and expect to have our points in the next couple of weeks. If I cancel our room reservation and use points to stay DVC, will have to cancel my dining reservation, too, or will that stay since our dates remain the same?

Nothing. Everyone can make ADRs at the 60 day mark.

You'll be fine as long as all of your reservations are within the 60 day mark at time of switch. This is a common way of getting dining reservations for split-stays too, booking a cash room with the deposit so you can book all of your dining 60 days out and then cancelling the cash stay once all dates fall within 60 days or less.
