What happens to MS room request if I do online check-in?

I called MS last week to add requests to our upcoming split stay.
We have never made a room request through MS - have always done it during online check-in.
For our BWV studio Garden/Pool View, we requested Village Green or croquet lawn.
For our AKL-Jambo 1 BR Savanna View, we requested Arusha savanna, Zebra Trail, away from lobby.

I don't want to mess up / erase these requests.
Will doing online check in have any impact on the requests through MS?

Online check-in - can over-ride your request if you make a choice of them during online check-in process.
Just do NOT put in any requests during the online check-in process, as these would over-ride the ones you made through MS.

We requested large balcony at Beach Club for check in yesterday and we got a small baloney and the room wasn't ready until 430pm

You can do online checkin, but do not touch the room request part of online checkin. That would override your previous request. But you can enter credit card, arrival time, etc, and check in online.
If you are anal like me, you can call member services after you check in online and double check that your request is still there.
