What happens if you run out of TS credits?

My husband really wants to eat at the Yachtsman Steakhouse on our last evening in WDW. The way I have it figured is we will have 1 TS credit left per person, however, Yachtsman is 2 TS credits. How will this work? Can we use the 1 TS credit and pay the difference? Or is it handled differently? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Just use both TS credits (you each have 1 left) for one meal and pay for other. They pool credits anyway so doesn't matter if you both only have 1 left each. You actually have 2 left all together

You should be able to use the 2 credits to get one meal. Either split the meal, or buy a second meal with cash.

Be sure to look at your other TS meals - you may be able to pay OOP at one of your other places for less than you would spend at Yachtsman. Or, if you're like me, you may figure out halfway through your trip that you could easily share a meal or two and still have FAR FAR too much food - then you could stretch your points (after all, you only need TWO measly points!)

some table service is much cheaper than the others, so pay one of those TS Out of your own pocket and save that credit to pay for more expensive one. Buffets at Boma and Ohana dinner cost just $24.99 drinks included. Dinner at Yachtsman cost as much as $76 even it cost 2 TS credits it still worth it. ($76 / 2 = $38, => more than $24.99!!)
