Today my magic bands said "out for delivery". When I got the mail, no magic bands. The site said "Delivered".
I called the post office. She said it was marked delivered and she didn't see anything at the office, and that she would talk to the carrier when she got in tomorrow. Guess what? She's a new carrier and it's her first week.
I checked with both neighbors. My only other hope is the people on the next street. We have very similar sounding street names (for example, I'm at 1010 Shady Bluff and they are at 1010 Shady Bend). Sometimes I get their mail. I walked over there but no one is home. I know there kids are all grown and he is a doctor so who knows what their hours are. I know better than to look in their mailbox--"teacher stealing mail" would be the headline. I'm going to try this evening and if they are not home I'm leaving a note on the door.
I'm so disappointed, but more importantly, what if the new carrier has no idea where the bands went and no one turns up with them? How soon should I call Disney? Do they give you any grief about mailing a duplicate set?

They'll give you replacement gray MBs at checkin with no grief.

I really don't want to wait until check-in. As weird as it sounds we are looking forward to our personalized magic bands. Plus they probably have DVC sliders. We are 25 days out so I am just wondering how many days I should give for them to show up before I call and try to get another set.

If you're concerned I would just call Disney now and tell them that you think your postal carrier lost your Magic Bands and could they send another set. I'm sure they will oblige. Right now whenever you make a reservation you get a Magic Band. Disney will be sending me 3 sets because I have 3 reservations (2 are part of a split stay). If you have both bands then you can use both if you want. I really don't think sending you an extra set will be a big deal and if it will give you piece of mind, I would call.

Yep this. When MB first came out I was dead set against them still not 100% happy with them but thats another story. So when DW ordered them I was the one who was home to get them when they arrived. I promptly recycled them and said I dont know what happened to them shhhhhhhh dont tell. Sure enough there were more magic bands waiting on us when we arrived.

Just know that many times I get things marked as delivered but nothing arrives at my house. But the next day miraculously a box shows up. I think the mailman scans his boxes at the beginning of his route and doesn't always have time to deliver all packages. It is what it is. Wait until tomorrow and if they don't show up call Disney or DVC and see if they can send replacements

But can you get replacement ones with the original names, colors, that were ordered? And the sliders?
