Planning on getting tix for October 6th. So what exactly goes on at the party? What is the length of it, what is the schedule and location events (parades, fireworks, trick-or-treating). Does everyone dress up? Are PS at LTT really necessary? We want to make the most of the evening, and haven't ever been to LTT anyway, so it sounds cool!

MNSSHP INFO

Hours: 7:00 p.m. - Midnight (they will let party goers in AFTER 4:00p though with just the party ticket) and the park closes from 6:00p to 7:00p to clear out the park and to get it ready with decorations etc...

Lots dress up and some don't. No, PS isn't necessary unless you want to eat a sit down meal. LTT is fun. You can book it now. Crystal Palace and The Castle will also be available at 90 days. Tony's can also be booked now.

Halloween at the Magic Kingdom is one of the most unique parties hosted by Disney. Come out for an evening of fun and see all your favorite Characters dressed up in their costumes. Watch for Cast Members from the Haunted Mansion. They are roaming the park, looking for new tenants perhaps...? Eek!

A special Halloween Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks show will light up the sky. It is a perimeter display and Tinkerbell is replaced by a witch! Oh My! The one and only Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parade will make it's way down Main Street USA, past all those ghostly shadows flying along the buildings. (Watch for the Headless Horseman.) The parade is shown twice. Unique floats include a Villains Float, Haunted Mansion Float, and Hades Float. The fog is thick, so watch your step. BOO!

The decor of the evening is hay bales, cornstalks, balloons, and jack o lanterns... everywhere! Upon arriving guests receive a Trick-or-Treat bag with a few goodies, and can go to designated locations throughout the Magic Kingdom for even more treats. Get your picture taken with Mickey's Halloween background and receive a free 5x7 in the mail thereafter.

Also featured; Halloween Riverboat Ride, A special Boo-To-You Parade for the little ones, face painting, pumpkin carving demonstrations, Fortune Tellers in Adventureland, and Donald's Pumpkin Patch.

Boo! What? Where? & When?

The characters wear eye masks and special Hallween aprons. But it's mostly because you can book it now. The other restaurants can be booked at 90 days though.

Thank you...just wanted to make sure I was not missing anything!

When MNSSHP is going on are the other parks generally quieter??? We have tickets for the 23rd and there are several nights that week MK is having MNSSHP.

Thanks for the info. My husband and I will be going the night before our DCL cruise over Halloween.

:earsgirl: Does anyone know if the characters are dressed up in halloween costumes at all the parks or just at the mnsshp? I saw that they may be dressed up at camp minnie and mickey in ak?

The characters do wear costumes throughout the party. I've never seen them in Halloween costumes anywhere else other then at the party. You would hardly tell Halloween is coming throughout the rest of WDW.

It's amazing the MK transformation!
