What happens after park closes, before after hours starts?

Looking at April 20th, Park closes at 9 pm and Happily ever after scheduled for 9. After hours starts at 10.

So After Happily ever after, but before the after hours event starts at 10 pm, are the rides open, or what will be available? If rides are available, is it only for after hours people? Or just a chance to clear out regular guests from the queue (so if you get in a queue before 9 pm you can be in that line between 9-10 but not enter after 9 pm until it's 10?)

To date, MK After Hours events have not operated with a “gap” in timing between park closing and the event start time (although this is the way it is structured at DAK After Hours on some nights). My prediction/assumption is that MK park hours will ultimately be extended for your night to close at 10pm.

The attractions are still available for After Hours Guests during the window. The free snacks are typically not available until the event start time. Also don't be surprised if the regular park hours get extended till 10:00 pm and just haven't been announced yet.
