Even if it's just to complain about what is perceived to be complaining by someone else lol.
But... you did. My free paper luggage tags don't match my free Magic Bands. First World problems, I suppose...Well, I am not complaining I was just wondering if this was happening to others. But alas someone will always find something to complain about...

Not hateful at all. Just wondering myself if this is something to truly even be considering. Disney slipped her a few free luggage tags. Be grateful, be thankful, and be moving on.No she wasn't complaing she was just wondering. No need to be hateful.
Right? Somehow I'm sure your luggage will be safe, mismatched as it is.We got ours. Mismatched too. It's all good.
She wasn't being ungrateful or unthankful, she was literally just wondering and wanted to know if others have received similar items. She said in her original post she's still excited and happy, she was just curious. There's no need to accuse somebody of "complaining about a free gift" when there's literally no complaining. And even if it was to complain, if you don't agree with it, don't post on it.Not hateful at all. Just wondering myself if this is something to truly even be considering. I'm wondering if Disney is trying to phase out the old tags and start something new? Or if they just want to clear out the inventory? I remember when the tags were first mentioned by WDW, the anticipation was massive. Then it seemed the clamor died off. For a while, there was no mention in the paperwork of the tags being included in the MagicBand boxes, and families were inadvertently tossing the tags. Why they would hid them in the folds of the cardboard, I have no idea. Since I'm DVC, luggage tags were not made available to me so I never really knew what they looked like. Then one day while I was checking into my resort, I noticed a family receiving tags so I asked the desk clerk what they were. Her eyes lit up and she asked, "Do you think you want some???" She slid open a drawer without my even responding and she pulled out hands full of loose tags. She said that families were turning them down and the tags were piling up everywhere. So I left with two full sets of tags, which I have never once used. But I've got them......... No I was simply stating "oh this is different then what I experienced in the past"... Hm I wonder if others have gotten the same thing recently. I am not sitting here demanding that Disney fix a non-existent issue by giving me something for my hardship I have endured. I am not expecting anything from it. I was simply posting a curiosity.
Of all the things to worry about pre-trip, free luggage tag colors seems like a pretty inane thing to complain about.
We didn’t even get luggage tags...
That’s what we had. I tore the box apart looking for them. Around the same time ours arrived, I saw on some FB pages that others didn’t get them either. It’s okay, I had some from previous trips. I honestly thought they were phasing them out.
Like a few other posters this is news to me that they match! When I went last August we got Mickey and Minnie cartoon tags. I’m interested to see what I get in December.
As others have said, there are no grounds for complaint, as they aren't even in your contract anywhere. They are a free gift.
