This is my 5th year anniversary as a DIS member. WOW!
IMO the DVC forum has evolved more into a "DVC community" forum. Sure. Ask a question about the DVC program and you'll get a prompt, reply or two. But there are so many DVC vets on the boards these days, these question don't last on page 1 very long. Also, there are so many answers to practically every question, I think most newbies are simply scanning older posts. Nothing wrong with that either.
The board now seems to be more about "being" a DVC member rather than about "becoming" a DVC member. We now talk a lot about what's happening in DVCland, comparing notes, telling stories, and sharing and discussing news.
This has been a natural evolution as the both the DIS and DVC member base has grown.
