Where did you hear that? Make sure to know between rumors and fact. VMK was made to be free so that people could play it, get addicted and go to the parks!

there is one reason and one reason alone why they dont charge,

Promotion

this whole game is basicly promotion fro peopel to come to DIsney resorts. Since its owned by disney itself and has things that you can only get in disney it nudges you over a litle but to take that dream vacation you always wanted with the kids

That sounds like a very bad idea to me.

Sulake is paid by Disney to run the game so Disney can promote their parks, new rides etc. Public relations, btw, is a sister to advertising and customers don't pay for it. So there is no reason to charge for the game imo. It would defeat the whole intent of promoting Disney to the widest audience.

First off VMK has only been around since last May not even a full year yet and I do not know where you heard that RUMOR but that is just what it was Disney has said from the very beginning they were not EVER going to charge for VMK.(playing it that is)

let's just say and i know vmk staff and tester look at this but vmk population would go down if they started charging so i think it would just end... except for the little sum of ppl that would pay.

Actually I read it too, before VMK started. I could of sworn it was on the Disney official site too. Anyway they don't, so thats all that matters!
