What happened to the countdown ticker in my signature?

I noticed last week when I was posting that my countdown ticker was not appearing in my posts. Then I noticed that I didn't see the tickers for anyone else's posts either. Checked my signature today and the ticker URL had been removed?

When did this happen and why?

How? It was removed from my signature section, the URL is simply not there to see.

I think there's some sort of technical issue with tickers. They've been coming and going recently.

Oh so it's not just me I guess. Mine disappeared so I have tried putting a new one up but it won't let me.

So on another thread, somebody was asking for help in tickers. When I turned on viewing signatures to help, I noticed the ticker did not display in Chrome even though it did in Firefox and Edge. It was weird.
