I recently read True Sisters, by Sandra Dallas. Really enjoyed the story and the characters. Dallas is great with historic fiction, I recommend her if you haven't read her books before.
This one is about the Mormons in the 1860's. She focuses especially on the women and how they demonstrate strength in difficulty.

In a way it's kind of a depressing book to read. Apparently, introverts have a lot to offer but they are not valued in society and the "extrovert" way is what is being crammed down kids' throats as well as in the workplace.
). I am so excited about this book. It takes place in New York City around the 1900's and has to do with profiling serial killers (a new concept at that time).
