Can anyone tell me the current status of the proposed bus that was to run directly from WL to MK skipping t&t? :wave:

Do they still have the bus to the TTC then?

Personally, I'd rather have the bus to the TTC than direct to MK. We've had trouble in the past after e-nights with getting back to WL because the boat doesn't run. But overall I'd rather have the bus to the TTC because with a short bus ride you can catch the monorail to epcot. So going to epcot really isn't much different from the WL than from one of the monorail resorts (you'd still have to walk to the monorail platform and change monorails). It is almost easier from WL because the bus ride is very short, and the bus stop is a short walk from the villas. The bus from WL to epcot has to go to ft. wilderness and is a long ride, and I'd rather take the monorail. You could boat to cont. and monorail to the ttc and monorail to epcot, but that is three changes. With the bus to the TTC, wilderness lodge transportation is about as nice as the monorail resorts - direct boat to magic kingdom, bus-monorail to epcot. I know it might be different for wheel chairs when the water level is low; it would be nice if there could be a direct bus for those times for folks who need it (but there wouldn't be a parking spot, I guess, but maybe it could be temporary). Overall, though, to me, I'd rather have the TTC bus than a MK bus at WL. I just don't have an interest in taking a bus to MK when I could take the boat, I enjoy the boat ride.

Yes.

Timewise, the direct bus will be quicker 9 times out of 10. If you get the TTC bus and the monorail just right, they work out to be the same.

My concern was for those with disabilities. When the water is low it is very hard to get out of that boat and two transfers is hard as well.

yeah, but it is more fun to ride the monorail than a bus (no offense - but you get to ride a bus to DAK and the studios so it is nice to have something different).

::yes::
I can't help but agree with this statement. I really hope they wait until May 2 to do away with the bus to the TTC if it has to happen. That was one of the big selling points for us to try VWL instead of BCV, because we'd be able to take the monorail to EPCOT. There is nothing better than that ride, even if it takes longer than the direct bus. Sorry Tyler, know you're partial to the busses, but I can ride busses as part of any mass transit system. The monorails are only in WDW. And there's no way I'll be able to convince my stepdad that 3 transfers is worth it (even though a million would be to me, just to ride the monorail).

I'm partial to both... I used to be a Monorail Pilot prior to driving buses. :)

We will be going back to WL late after MVMCP. Will the boat still be running? Or should we plan on the bus from TTC?
