What happened to Corey Clark on Idol?

LOL!! You're right about that. It seems like Corey must appear in court on assault charges. He failed to mention all of this to the producers. They disqualified him.

He has battery and resisting arrest charges pending and failed to disclose.
I thought it was awkward for Idol to give him a forum for his "excuses". They haven't done that with Frenchie yet.

It was a shame that he may have kept other finalists from achieving fame just because he was selfish and arrogant enough to think the rules didn't apply to him
I'm glad he's gone. That type of behavior is not what I'd want in an American Idol.

Not that this makes it any better, but I think Fox's logic for keeping Trenyce is that she was up front about her problems with the law, and also, her arrest was expunged from her record (I think because she completed some kind of course or something like that!).

From what I have heard it was more than just an assault on his sister, he has a longer record than that. He wasn't upfront about any of it. The info concerning this is on Smokinggun.com

Trenyce (or Lashunda - or whatever her real name is) participated in a diversion program, so the charge/conviction was wiped from her record.

Also, she was apparently forthcoming about her history, where Corey intentionally was not.

The Frenchie thing was because the website for which she had posed has an illegal/underage scope to it. She said it didn't when she did the posing, but that is the way it is now. FOX wanted to stay way clear of THAT.

Frenchie didn't even pose nude! She was wearing a black dress that showed a lot of cleavage. Thats it! The media never seemed to clear that up. Hmmmmm

Frenchie was also up front about her pictures...they let her continue on with the competition knowing about them. It is more than obvious what they did to Frenchie. That is why I've never watched the show since and will never watch again.
