What frightened you to this day, that you seen on TV or the

Chucky!!!! It didn't help that when I first saw it I had a bedroom filled with dolls :scared:.

The scene in MASH when one of the main characters is in a boat in a lake of blood. I saw that when I was a young kid (probably 7 or 8) and it still creeps me out to this day.

That scene in Titanic where the steerage-class Irish mama is putting her little ones to sleep. So horrific just thinking about it makes my heart pound all these years later.

I like scary movies.....but the creepy puppet dolls like Chucky freak me out. I don't watch those

My dad is kinda nuts (shocking) so he let me see all kinds of movies from a very young age, that - he probably shouldn't have. I remember seeing Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome at like 5-6 on HBO late one night with him and having nightmares about those kids flying to my neighborhood and somehow turning the neighborhood into the apocalyptic wasteland. I had that nightmare for years. I still love that genre of movies and books though!

The scene in Poltergeist where a person starts tearing their face off in chunks. Always freaked me out.

Also, the tv series "Holocaust". I was probably 12 or 13 when this was on. There were several nights where I didn't sleep after watching. I was shocked and horrified that people would/did do those things to other people. I had had no idea.

It was some movie where teranchulas took over the town and ended up cacooning the whole town. I don't know the name but that I still cant stand spiders.

My dad was the same way except sometimes he took it to another level... Like telling me Killer Clowns from Outer Space was a "kids movie" lol.

The episode is called Dreams and it's the only MASH episode I will turn off when it airs. It's one of my all time favorite shows but what was always great about was it was always balanced with humor, even if somewhat dark humor. That episode had none and was beyond disturbing. I was just coming back to post about it.

The lake isn't blood, Hawkeye ends up in a rowboat filled with body parts. Margaret is in a wedding dress that gets covered in blood when her bed fills up with wounded soldiers. Being that young when it aired you may have joined the two in your memory.

One that creeps me out to this day was an episode of Twilight Zone. It's a a beautiful young woman and they're going to fix her "hideous" face. In the end all the doctors and nurses are revealed to have pig faces. It was made long before I was born but I saw it an age (maybe 5 or 6?) where I was convinced my parents could be aliens and not my parents. That episode did not help that thought process.

The Exorcist. That movie scared me so bad. I can't believe to this day that I sat through the entire movie. Lol

Silver Screen ?

Flying Monkeys
Yes flying monkeys and the awful green witch in Wizard of Oz. Terrifies me. My kids still haven't seen that movie because I just can't have it in in the house.
