What fragrance do you get the most compliments on?

I have a lot of expensive perfumes, but weirdly the scent I get the most compliments on is the Hello Beautiful body splash from Bath & Body works. I wear it on casual days of errands, to the theme parks, etc. and I get compliments on it nearly every time I wear it.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue

Light Blue is my go to scent. Fragrances frequently trigger migraines for me, so I've had to give up a lot over the years. My daughters recently bought me a new bottle of Lolita Lempicka, but I have to very carefully choose when I can wear it because sometimes it's just too much for me and will trigger my headaches.

Check out Pacifica at Ulta. They have a fair range of scents and don’t set off my allergies or give me migraines.

Have to remember to check that out if I haven't already. Every now and then I try some things out to see what I might like and what I might possibly be able to wear.

I have more colognes than I care to admit, but my signature is Play by Givenchy.

Two other favorites are Le Male by John Paul Gaultier and Code by Armani.

But during the real hot times of summer (especially when I run), I'll wear Phoenix (Axe spray deodorant) and get constant compliments! Like random people on the train!! I would say when I wear it compliments come in at least daily.

I haven't worn actual perfume in a long time because we used to have someone in our office who had allergies and always complained about everyone's perfumes and colognes. I've been using Victoria Secret's Love Spell fragrance mist for several years now and always get lots of compliments on it.

I don't believe I wear one that gets more compliments than another (I subscribe to scentbird.com so I get a new fragrance each month), but my son wears Polo Blue and gets compliments all the time. He wore a little on a job interview and the woman interviewing him kept telling him how good he smelled!

I love Angel on other people- I haven't bought it for myself, because it smells amazing, but just a wee bit too floral. My skin chemistry doesn't mix well with floral.

I favor heavy, Oriental scents. I love Youth Dew, Poison, Cinnabar, Lauren, and Obsession. I started wearing Youth Dew back in the 80s when I was in high school. People would tell me they liked what I was wearing, with many friends saying I smelled like their grandma (YD is by Estee Lauder and it came out in the 1950s).

My grandmother wore Youth Dew. My mom and I didn’t like it at all, but she loved it. She wore it for years and years.

I have a story about Cinnabar. When I was in college someone close to me gave me a bottle of it in EDC, but I wasn't wild about it, so I put the bottle in my guest room closet and forgot about it. A couple of years later, guests who slept in that room started complaining of headaches. I decided to give it a thorough cleaning, but it still didn't help. Then I noticed the old perfume bottle on the closet shelf, and I tossed it. No more headache reports after that. Apparently the stuff was so strong that the scent that had permeated the rubber seal was enough to give people headaches if they spent the night in the room.

I've always wanted it because I love the scent but I've only met one person that didn't smell like she bathed in it so I'm hesitant LOL. I figured it's just one of those strong scents.

Good tip!
I have it and while I love it, it seems like it never goes away. It stays on your clothes too. I don't wear it in the summer either, too heavy. I'm going to have to try the Pure Grace you recommended earlier. I like Amazing Grace but it smells weird on me so maybe I'll have better luck with Pure Grace I actually didn't know there were other sents! I have firming cream and love the way that smells!

By far the most compliments I received was when I wore Gardenia by Bath & Body Works. People loved that scent, and so did I. It was retired and I miss it. I worked in retail and I would receive compliments daily when I wore it.
