Hi, My family and I will be in Disney when I am 7 months pregnant, does anyone have any ideas for footwear that is comfortable and breathable. I thought of the Crocs flipflops, or just my sneakers.. Any ideas from anyone as to what they wore? :)

I wore Birkenstocks for (almost) my entire pregnancy.

By the time I was 7 months, I was huge. I could only put on shoes that were slip-ons. Otherwise, someone had to help me!

I even credit my Birks for the fact that my feet are still the same size as they were pre-pregnancy. Of course, I don't know if that is true, but those Birks are comfy and supportive!

Another vote for Birenstocks!! The last 3 months of my pregnancy my feet hurt terribly!! They thought I even had a slight stress fracture. I wore Birenstocks the rest of the time. Eight years later...they are still my most favorite and comfortable sandal. Check out QVC...they have great prices and great fashion color/styles!!!:thumbsup2

I wore Birks almost the whole time I was pregnant with DD8. By the end of the day, I'd have to loosen the buckles to get my swollen feet in them. I'm 5 months pregnant now and I have been living in my Rainbow flip flops. I'd think any shoes that give your feet room to breathe and move would be good. I'd avoid athletic shoes. They'd be too hot, tight, and restrictive for me. Crocs would be also be good.

I wore flip flops. If I could have gone barefoot I would have. Of course, if I could always go barefoot I would so pregnancy didn't really change that.:rotfl2:

I have been to disney during all 3 of my pregnancies and I can highly reccomend ANY kind of Skechers Sport, especially the slip-on ones past month 5.

I LOVE these shoes! I pretty much wore them everywhere with everything and they were perfect for all the walking at WDW and just seemed even better this last trip when I was trying to keep up with our almost 4 and just turned 2 year old as they raced through the parks.

They can be a bit pricey at most stores, but we had a Sketchers outlet near our home in Virginia, so I could get 2pairs for $60. You can also find pretty good deals for them online.

Have a wonderful trip! -Jennie

Sorry this is OT but is that your real full name? I only ask because it is mine and that is how I spell it too! I never see anyone with it spelled that way.

Sorry- back on topic!

Isn't the obvious answer "barefoot?" (sorry, couldn't resist)

Actually, my wife was pregnant twice when we went to WDW but she wasn't far enough along yet to have to worry about it. She just wore her tennis shoes. Later on it was slide ons so she could still get them on without help, but she didn't have to do that kind of walking by then.

Yep! "Jennie" is my real, legal name and it isn't short for anything. I was named after a great-aunt on my father's side. I find that it really seems to confuse people .. . either they don't believe me when I tell them that my real name IS NOT Jennifer, or they see the "ie" at the end and want to put an "a" in the beginning and pronounce it "Jean-ie" -- I have no idea why! :confused3 I really didn't like the spelling of my name while growing up because I could never find anything personalized correctly, now I love that it is unique.

Have a wonderful day! -Jennie

When I was PG w/dd#2 (she was my only summer baby) I wore croc flipflops or any kind of flipflop I could find. My feet were soooo swollen and sore I might also suggest renting a ecv if you get too swollen.

Another vote for Birks! My feet were so swollen by the time I had my September baby that the only shoes I could get on my feet were the two thick strap Birks on the loosest hole. Before my feet got that big that nothing else fit, they were still the most comfortable summer pregnancy shoes.

We went to Disney last year when I was around 28 weeks pregnant with my son. I wore DC Shoes brand sneakers and my feet stayed happy.

OMG! Me too!!!! I swear if one more person calls me Jeanie I will scream! I am named for my grandmother. I actually had teachers insist that my name is Jennifer. :headache: As if I don't know my own name! I used to really dislike my name as a kid but now I love it and I wouldn't change it at all.:lovestruc

We went when I was 6 months preg and I wore my sneakers (runing shoes) the whole time. I have wierd ankles and use orthotics in my sneaks so they were most comfortable for me. They are all I really wear preggers or not. Except in the summer I'm either bare foot or wear flip flops but I know I couldn't do the flip flops all day in the parks mostly due to my ankle issue. Any thing we do that involves a lot of walking I wear the sneakers.

I would say do what is most comfortable for you. Maybe even bring a different pair with you so you can change if you find one pair isn't working out.

Crocs rocked my world when I was pregnant. They allowed for expanding feet and did not make me have cankles! I totally vote for crocs!
