What food that you aren't allergic to do you usually have a bad reaction to?

I don't know if it was an allergic reaction or not but my throat would get all weird feeling if I ate Cantaloupe. It was horrible because I have always LOVED Cantaloupe. Went on for a period of time, like 10-15 years and then suddenly stopped. I eat Cantaloupe all summer long again.

Fried foods can sometimes really make me queasy since I rarely eat fried foods. Can't do Chinese buffets as they are just fried foods around here. Delicious, but I suffer if I would eat it because of the quantity all being fried.

Oats

They give me hives, but I still eat them. It's not a true allergy. My allergist skin tested me for them and I didn't react. He said the avenin protein in oats makes a lot of people have skin reactions without it being a true allergy (it's more of an intolerance).

If I take a daily antihistamine, I don't get the hives.

Anything with too much garlic and/ or onions in it. Sucks as lots of the type of dishes I like use lots of garlic.

I don't want to stir anything up, but anyone do Keto or Carnivore diet? (I've learned you can reverse all kinds of allergies, ailments & even diseases)

Pineapple, It's the weirdest thing but fresh pineapple and may mouth breaks out with ulcers. I can eat canned pineapple with no problems.

Fish. If I eat something like fish & chips I can only get about 1/3 the way through and I get nauseous.

Poppy seeds...sometimes I'll get hives sometimes I won't-no issues on something like an everything bagel(maybe because they get baked/cooked?)

If I eat a ton of gluten rich foods I'll break out in a rash on my upper arms but nothing over the top that I can't handle

Scallops-if I actually ingest them I get a full on allergic reaction(hives, itchy/swollen throat) but can be exposed to them with only very mild issues(like if they are cooked near my food-no issues other than a slightly itchy throat)

So a lot of intolerance/sensitivity but no life threatening issues

Anything deep-fried. It's murder on my reflux, even though I take prescription meds twice a day. I'd be lying if I said I never ate anything deep-fried; some things are just worth it.

Super spicy chicken wings. As far as reaction, the less said the better.

(And yes I still eat them.)

Too much chocolate will make me nauseous, and the same with some roux based gravies. If I make gravy at home, I thicken it with cornstarch and it doesn’t bother me. I can eat spicy and acidic food like there’s no tomorrow, with no ill effects.
