Next trip, we're taking or DGDs and staying at Kidani. DH likes a muffin in the morning, and occasionally we want to be able to pick up a sandwich. Does the gift shop have any food offerings? I remember they had coffee when I was there last, but I don't remember what else. Any bakery-type offerings?

I didn't spend a lot of time looking at the gift shop in February since it was so small and limited, but it seemed that half of it was food. It appeared to be all pre-packaged commercial food, nothing like "fresh" bakery food. I will second the Sanaa breakfast, I thought it was wonderful and well priced with the DVC or AP discount.

So can you go into Sanaa in the AM and just get a muffin to go? I didn't know that-I guess I thought it was a sit down. Is it like Mara in the morning then? That would be great!

The Kidani store is very small. Almost an after thought. I would think the offerings would be very limited. We always went over to Jambo House to go to the store (another reason we prefer Jambo).

Sanaa for breakfast has a menu that you can order from, and have your food brought to a table to enjoy at the restaurant, or prepared to-go. Additionally, there are grab-n-go items (pastries, banana bread, juices, fruit, yogurt etc.) if you just want something quick to take with you.
