what food is good at POP Century?

We're going to Pop in October and on the dining plan. We want to save our snack options for the parks. I know pop serves platters for breakfast, but can you buy just an order of toast or bagels?

Yes they have bagels and toast. The toast is like 69 cents or something, the bagels more. However when I went up to the counter I always had a bagel because that is what my DD wanted, I said "could I use it for a snack" and they said that is was the "side item or dessert" with a CS meal. So we always got a breakfast platter and a bagel(with Cream cheese) and a bottle of water using 1 CS and this fed two of us. We were on the QSdp so we had only CS to use and POP was perfect for this dining plan. I think we would have been dissappointed having the QS plan and staying at another resort. The options are amazing!

They were on the first station on the right when looking at the food court. It was pretty clearly marked. They had a sign out telling you what was "moms dinner" today. The turkey dinner was good. The fried chicken looked good too.

Most of the meals there have been good. Too bad there are no FROZEN COKES to go with them any more!

the breakfast wasn't anything outstanding - but we ate their breakfasts many times (usually split the pop waffle) and thought they were good.

My favorite thing about the Pop food court was the variety of desserts and snacks--fabulous if you're on the DDP.

The bakery is awesome! Brownies, big cookies, tie-dyed cheesecake. You can get a nice fresh fruit cup too, and those keep well in a cooler. My kids were crazy about the fresh breadsticks and sauce from the pizza station. I really liked the chili--a cup is a snack credit--and my son even enjoyed the fresh celery and carrot sticks with ranch dressing (another snack credit).

I absolutely love the chicken alfredo dish. It's penne pasta with alfredo sauce served with a HUGE piece of lightly breaded chicken and a breadstick. LOVE IT! I have to get it everytime... I think it's also at all 3 of the All Stars. I know I got it at the Movies on our last trip.

Our family loved many of the above mentioned meals (meatball sub, chicken alfredo, chicken parm, lo mein, pizza, cheese fries) even the aforementioned unhealthy breakfast pizza ... but, I've read the breakfast pizza is gone which was so sooooo good! I'm a bit bummed about that, but I'll try the croissant this time instead of getting pizza every morning! Glad to hear people like the reuben flatbread, want to try that one too! Sorry though, don't remember about the microwave, but I'll check when we go!

Our last trip, the night before we left, I had an extra qs credit and the only food place open was the pizza/pasta line. So I reluctanly tried the chicken alfredo....it was fantastic!

I think the chicken alfredo is fantastic too! And try a big piece of tye-dyed cheesecake for dessert The cheesecake is what I missed about not staying at POP last year(we stayed at ASMu)

Yep, there IS a microwave in the food court! If I remember correctly, it's on the backside of the soda islands kind of where all the condiments are.

I verified this info. with the Grooviest Pop info thread on the Resorts board before posting to make sure it's still there, and they mention it, too!

We love the chicken alfredo-I was surprised it was real chicken and not processed.

For breakfast we love to split the breakfast burrito and potatoes, or I love the chocolate chip croissant! Oh my gosh, I'm ready to go there NOW!!!

Cmbar, last month as in July? I haven't been, but it was off the allears menus in April ... I asked if anyone had seen it but never got any answers so I figured I was the only one who loved it . Maybe they put it back? I hope so .....
