We will be at DLR Jan. 27-31. Does anyone know what fireworks show will be going on?? We haven't been to DLR for 2 years, so I have no idea what they have changed in that time.

Thanks in advance!
Can't wait!! 16 days!!!:cool1:

Right now, DLR is putting on a show called "Fantasy in the Sky". It's an old fireworks show that ran in the parks for many many years. Currently, this show is a placeholder until the rumored "60th Celebration" fireworks show is officially announced.

And keep in mind that, at DLR, fireworks are only shown on weekends (F, Sa, Su) during this time, so plan accordingly.

With the castle being covered, will they still be running the fireworks show? I've done a few searches but can't find an answer.

They should be- Fantasy in the Sky is towards the side of underwhelming, but that's typical before an anniversary show. I've heard rumors of what that might be, but as of this time, no one knows for sure.

The old Fireworks show "Fantasy in the Sky" does not use the Castle. It is a very basic show that ran from 1958 - 1999.

Thanks for the info. Yes, we planned to watch them on Friday. Thanks!

"underwhelming" doesn't sound too promising, but at lease we will be at the DLR, right? :confused3

Darn, I was hoping for a "Wishes" type show or something, but I guess SOME is better than, NONE, right? Thanks for the info!;)

The good side of it is, maybe "watchers" won't clog up the Hub for several hours each night. Making it very hard to get from Tomorrowland to Adventureland/Frontierland.
