What "extras" do you do that make your trip magical?

can you share more about this? i looked online at disney's website (not wdw but the entire disney site) and could not find anything... i would *LOVE* to do this for the kids surprise trip!

I found info in my Birnbaum's guide book under (specialty cruises), but it lists Breathless as $190 for a 1 hour Illuminations cruise (price per boatload and includes a driver). That's way over our budget, but I read a post on the Dis that they were giving 10 minute rides in the afternoons for about $28. That I can do! Can't wait.

The book lists Breathless as an open-air motorboat that is a 24 foot reproduction of a 1930's mahogany runabout. It fits up to 7 guests.

I wanted to ride the sea raycers at our resort, but later found out they are for 2 people only. We have a toddler with us so if they count him, we won't be able to rent one. I was hoping they'd let me hold him in my lap. I'm not to sure how strict they are about the 2 persons only rule.

THe Breathless Burst is actually something we do often for a little special treat.

Things you need to know about it - It goes FAST & you will get WET. It is probably the Best Thrill Ride Disney offers. Usually your Captain will ask you how wet & how fast you want to go, at least this has been our experience. Since you have a toddler with you, I'm sure they will ask & tone it down alot. But you might want to check on that at the Marina before you decide on it.


We try to do one or two special things each trip. Lately, it's been a Tour on each trip, like Dan (actually I got the idea from him) or this coming trip, it's Party for the Senses. Then there's the little things, like trying a new attraction, a new restaurant or finding new Hidden Mickeys.

WDW is so special for us already that we don't feel like we need to do a Biggie everyday we're there. Most of the Magic we've found along the way has been totally unplanned. It only happens when we slow down enough to see it.
