Hi! We'll be doing the Western Carribbean cruise in May and was wondering what shore excursions anyone would recommend with a 3 and 6 y/o. They both swim but can not snorkel and my 6 y/o daughter has told me she does not want to swim with the stingrays! (watched the cruise video last night!) Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!::p

I too would be interested in some of the same ideas. Mine will be 9, 6 and 4 when we sail in June. I am a little leary about the cost of some of the excursions. I don't want to "shell" out a lot and then the kids not enjoy themselves. They are usually very easy to enlighten though!

same here please. Mine will be 8,7 and 4 when we sail. Can anyone recommend a family excursion?

Me too......my DS's will be 2 and 5 when we sail on the Magic. So far I have heard Playa del Sol in Cozumel. 7 mile beach in Grand Cayman or Captain Mervyn's snorkeling excursion or swimming with the stingrays if they are old enough. In Key West I am doing the trolley tour.

Hopefully others will give us other ideas.

Here are a few options for kids as I've been doing a lot of research in this area:

Beach Horseback Rides , I read that you can have younger ones ride with you and they take beginners to expert riders on a great beach.

Atlantis Submarine Goes down to 100ft, there is a 36" height requirement

Seaworld Explorer,Glass bottom boat, doesn't sound as exciting as the submarine

We also looked at chartering a sailboat: Sail Boat Charter, Red Baron. look great but still undescided

Also could do a beach day or something, but we could still do the beach after an excursions:D
