What exchange rate do you get from dusney

Where currency cards are concerned how do the FairFx match up. I had a look on moneysavingexpert and he suggests that it is the best of these.

DH likes to only spend what we have and HATES credit cards. I think his dad taught him well :lmao:

I would never advise anyone to put holiday spend on credit. I have used credit cards for 30 years and never paid 1 penny interest.
Anyone that does use a fee free credit card needs to pay it off before any interest is added or you would probably better with other cards with lower interest rates.

I personally wont spend a penny on a credit card that i cant afford to pay straight off.

I much prefer a credit card as i like the extra security it provides. :)

:thumbsup2 I have a similar view and use my credit card very much like a debit card, but as you say, extra security and if you have a fee free card for international transactions it makes things a lot easier. I like to order things ahead of time to be delivered there. I have found the easiest way to avoid having to declare food for the USA is too order it from the USA and have it delivered, along with sun protection, basic toiletries etc. I get a much better rate with the PO credit card and transfer the money in often before I make the transaction.

Photopass+ last weekend on pre order at $149 worked out to £92 that way, with no fees added :)
