I've seen this talked about A LOT in the time I've been in the Universal forums, but I haven't seen it explained exactly what it is. Can you please help??? :confused3

Thanks!!!:goodvibes

Sounds like you haven't read the Potter books (yet). Butterbeer is like cola or root beer in the Hogwarts world. Harry and his friends are always having a butterbeer or two whenever they visit Hogsmead. We presume it's non-alcoholic.

At WWoHP, it's made like a very rich-tasting cream soda with foam on top.

Good reason to read the books - and if the first one seems a bit childish, don't worry - as Harry matures, so does his storytelling. (That's also one reason the books get a lot fatter.)

Thanks! I did read some aloud to my son about 5 years ago, but I've never read an entire book. I've decided I definitely need to read them before we go in Nov to appreciate the WWOHP area. It looks awesome! :worship:

I didn't like it because I thought it was too sweet and it appeared that the best part of drinking it for my niece and nephew was getting a foam moustache and having thier picture taken so they could show off to friends at home.

Totally agree what you said about the 1st book. it is more childish 'in some ways' however there is still a lot of depth. After the 1st they get deeper and deeper! Oh how i wish i could read them again for the 1st time lol.
