What exactly is a studio plus?

We are 3 adults that are looking for accomodations for just one night. We'd each like to have our own bed, and it seems that I recall talk of a studio plus at BWV. Is there a queen, sofa sleeper and a daybed? Is the daybed large enough for an adult? I'm also curious if you book a studio plus, if you are guaranteed to get one of the studios with a daybed.

Thanks!

The studio-plus is only at BWV. It can no longer be booked as a guaranteed option. Unless the adult is well under 5 feet tall, they will not fit on what is referred to as the "daybed". It is really a lot more like a bench. ;) There is a queen bed and a double sleep sofa in the room.

If the studio plus has the extra daybed (for a child over 3 yrs old but under 5 ft tall), does that mean that the occupancy is 5?

And are these dedicated studios, or would any be adjoining a 1Brm so as to create a 2br that has this option?

Do you simply put "daybed, please" on your requests? (and then show up at 6 am to secure it....:))

They are dedicated studios. The "bed" is where the connecting door would be located. I'm not sure how you get one these days.

Our last trip we got one just by luck. At first I though wow now my 8 year old DD will have her own place to sleep. That bench wasn't even big enough for her (she is tall for her age). I wouldn't count on the bench (sorry day bed) being an option unless you have a very small child who doesn't roll over in the night. The bench isn't very wide either.

Yikes! Thanks, guys. :D We are all well over 5 ft. tall, and whoever drew the short straw would be a very unhappy camper having to sleep on a bench.

Looks like it's back to the drawing board for that one nights stay. Let's hope our waitlist at CR via SoG comes thru so we don't have to move.

Thanks again!

Not sure what your situation is, but a 1BR at OKW might be a good choice for that one night

Thanks

Regardless if you get a studio at BWV or a 1 BR at OKW you will still only have 1 bed and a sleeper sofa. If you want everyone in your party of 3 to have a bed, I would go with a cash reservation for the one night at either the Poly or the Contemporary. In these rooms you will get 2 queen beds and a day bed that is the size of a twin bed. Much more sleeping space/beds at these resort rooms than either a BWV studio or a 1 br at OKW.
