What exactly is a "Splash Pool"??

I'm looking at vacation homes (for next year) and I came across a few that listed as having a "splash pool". I'm not too sure what that is. Anyone know???

A small inground pool, maybe about 4 ft. deep. Not big enough for swimming, but big enough for cooling off. Went rented a townhome in Windsor Hills a year ago and had one. Kids loved it. It was private and screened in. Nice to come back to after a day in the parks.
