What exactly does SPD include?

I have seen that adults pay child prices for park tickets and DDP. Thought I'd seen where kids park tickets might be at no cost?? That seems extreme so wanted to know if anyone knew for sure. Thanks!

Stay Play Dine is what you said -- adults pay the child (3-9) price for park tickets and for dining plans. Room pricing is the full (rack) rate.

A few years ago there was a kids stay and play free (as well as a kids SPD free) where kids tickets were free. It was a wonderful discount and we used it a few times, but it is different than the recent SPD offers. Maybe that is what you read about.

I have read 2 different definitions for the SPD discount ...
I called disney and asked them what is SPD and IF it were to come open for early next year what would it be?
the answer per a CM..... was that KIDS stay/play/dine for FREE

who knows, which will is the correct upcoming discount.

Did they also say if adults eat/play at kids prices? That would be a fabulous deal!

Wow, I would be very surprised if that was true. Last year when we went, SPD meant that adults get the meal plan and park tickets for kids prices. I was a little annoyed as it really does not help families traveling with kids as much as it does with families traveling with only adults and disney adults. However, I will add that any discount is appreciated.

If kids SPD for free, that would be incredible!

We had kids S/P free in 2011? I think? Can't remember exactly when it was, but was not dine free. And it was only 3-9.

and it would be AWESOME!!!!!

Individual PIN codes have already been sent with a Stay Play Dine offer where adults and children all pay the child 3-9 prices for tickets and dining. So, this is the S/P/D offer that is expected to become public within the next few weeks.

Do you know when this will be live? Has a date been announced?

From what I've read so far, an early release for Disney Visa card holders may be released the last week of September (not sure if that's the week of the 23rd or the 30th) with a public offer shortly after that.

I'm confused about SPD. If you stay at a moderate, do you then pay kids prices for the DDP? Value then you pay kids prices for the QSP?

Yes, actually. You don't sound confused at all :lmao:

Just like free dining, the SPD deal gives you a dining plan at child prices based off of your resort level.

Value resorts = QSDP
Mod/Deluxe = DDP
