What ever happened to MK 24-hour events?

I was watching vlogs on youtube last night and came across one at a 24-hour event. Do these happen anymore? I would totally go!

They haven't done one in about 3 years now

They are hard for operations as MK does maintenance over night. They used to do them as their summer kick off.

nope as while they brought in crowds there were lots of logistical issues with staffing and with what PP said about doing work in the parks after hours FWIW I attended the back ends of 3 of those parties and there were a bunch of rides mostly in Fantasyland that had rolling closures from around midnight-3AM for maintenance
