Uncle Kyle, the hottie! I got to meet him at WDW while he was doing the college program. I always think of him whenever I see anything UK (University of KY). Wonder what he is doing with his life. I remember he met those chopper guys from TV (Pauly etc.)

Quentin...I was thinking of him the other day. I wonder if he still loves Minnie? He was working at WDW at one time also.

Remember the confusing posts of the Moof? Moof was always so nice to me. EAven sent me a little WDW magic once. I'll never go into The Great Movie Ride and not think of Moof at the scene of Casablanca. (I really should watch that movie sometime.)

And what about Goofball (Laura)? Did she ever make it to WDW?

I've been here a looooong time and have seen people come and go but just like in RL people move on. I realize that this place can sometimes grate on your nerves and don't really blame the ones who leave (and they do for many reasons) but life is a series of ups and downs and I kind of like most of what is here.

Many of the missing have moved onto other boards and I was soooo thrilled to see some of the names that I missed. I've met MANY of the people on the DIS and they are such nice and real people, with real lives.

I left for about a year myself so I realize that sometimes we have to take a break.

I'm sure this thread will drag some of them back, (they usually do) so if they do:

Richyams is one who'll never be forgotten by lots of us DVC members. Boy, did he love to stir things up! But I never knew he was a professed athiest. I thought he was Jewish. But certain phrases of his will live forever.

I think that sometimes people just migrate to a different section of the DIS. If they're planning a trip they might spend more time on the Themeparks Board and the Resorts Board, for example.
