Other than taxi, bell hop, mousekeeping and possibly table service tips is there anything else I should plan on having cash for at WDW and Disney Cruise?

There are some 'cart' vendors in the parks who ONLY accept cash.

For the cruise portion...

If you plan on debarking on any of the islands, other then Castaway Cay, you will need cash for purchases.

Yes.. I've corrected my post.. just too slowly!

A nice $20 bill can get you that table seating when there are no ADR's to be had.

It was fall 2005. Me, wife, daughter, and wifes parents were all hungry. It was 5:00pm, and the weather was fine. We wanted to eat on the patio at alfreados. 90 minute wait.

Gave the guy taking names a handshake with a $20 in it. he clapped his hands, said some italian....and 2 tables were pushed together for us imediatly.

Don't underestimate the value of a $20 and a handshake when you want something above and beyond.

GQ's ghost almost beat me to it - emergencies!

An extra $100 when you are away from home can make a lot of problems go away. So long as you don't consider a pair of shoes on sale as an 'emergency.'
You just never know when you are going to get stuck ina bad situation. Most of the time a credit card will work - or be needed - but there are times when the best solution is cash.

I've always felt that If I couldn't spare $100, I shouldn't be traveling.
