What else are you doing while you dis?

Just wonderin'...
I am a Nurse Practitioner and I pull up the dis first thing in the am at work and leave it up all day checking in between pts, while doing charts and sending letters etc...
I find it keeps me relaxed..

What are you all doing..are you at home opening candy bars real quietly or at work hiding the screen when people pass by...?

I work out of my home selling on ebay while I sit with my 86 year old grandmother who recently had a stroke.

I usually have ebay open in one window, the DIS in another and sometimes Uproar or Pogo in another.

Well, since I have to do more than one thing at a time I have at least 2, if not 3, internet pages open. IMing a few friends sometimes too.

oh taking care of my kids, cleaning, and surfing for freebies. I only stay here a bit at a time though Im logged in most of the time.

I do a combination of both... I work and DIS off and on when I get the time. I also DIS a lot at home. It is what I do instead of watching TV

I do graphic & web design and have various programs open working while DIS'ing. I also usually have things up on eBay so I have that open to keep an eye on things.

During the summer, I am usually on another couple message boards or websites while on the DIS, plus I am usually listening to music, and IMing people...sometimes talking on the phone and/or to other people in person at the same time...

During the school year...all of that + attempting to study at the same time. (Usually that doesn't get done until I actually pull myself away from the internet, though...)

In the mornings while I am getting ready for work I have it open and look at the early morning entries and then I eat my honey nut cherios while I finish checking things out.

I'm not usually on during the day since that's when I work but at night (at home) . . . I am e-mailing a friend in another state, playing Pogo, getting my points at Milesource, responding to e-mails, and listening to the TV (whatever DH is watching) while doing laundry and checking in at DIS!! I multi-task. Right now I'm about to listen to I Love Lucy while I DIS. My puppy is about 3 feet from me, asleep on the floor, waiting for me to go to bed.

The DIS definitely kept me sane during my summer job. Here at home I'm usually IMing and writing email and DISing at once.

I dread going back to college next week (!) as I'm going to have to break my constant DIS habit if I have any intention of keeping a decent GPA.

I'm an Addictions Counsellor so I log in first thing in the morning at work and access the DIS in between seeing clients.
