Do you mean Sunrunner? I can't find a model named Sunsetter.

Anyway, I have never heard of this company although I'm sure someone else has.

I have a Pride scooter. I've been really happy with it. I also know two ladies who own Jazzy's and they've been very pleased with them.

I don't know that model, but I have a friend who has had a Shoprider for around 5 years with no problems.

Mine is a Golden Buzzaround Lite, and I love it!

I'm going to move this thread to the disABILITIES Community Board where it will be more on topic.

I got a new Sunrunner 3 in January. I also have a Celeberty X. Both have there good points. My Sunrunner has a larger upright extented chair, so it is very comfortable. The Celeberty's framework seems to be more solid. I have taken both to WDW. I have better luck with an all day charge with the Sunrunner but I think that is because the Celeberty goes faster and drains the batteries faster. Have never had a problem recharging at WDW though. If you have to break them down for transportation into a trunk of a car for any reason, the Celeberty breaks down to either 5 or 6 pieces including batteries. The Sunrunner basically breaks down to 2 pieces the chair and the rest of it. The tiller arm folds down. I can load the Celeberty by myself if I had to. The Sunrunner I could not.

I know you didn't ask any info about the Celeberty but was I just giving another ECV to compare it with. I personally like my Sunrunner and haven't had any problems with it

Hi:
What kinds of experence has anyone had with a Go-Go Elite Traveller Plus ?
Thanks
Steve

I took my celeberty x to DW in Dec and the charge lasted for a good 12 hours. I love it because it goes so much faster than the rental ones. Also, I am very Pooh sized. :moped: I also like the bright red color; it's so much easier to spot among the other scooters.

I have a lift that puts it into the back of my van but I'm going to replace it with an external lift because I have too much difficulty manuevering it inside the van.

I took the autotrain with it in Dec but won't do that again unless i am able to have an accessible room. The bathrooms in the regular rooms are way too small.

I have seen the celebrity and I like that they go some what faster and I hear farther then the others. the revo, is nice, but I hear it only goes 3 to 4 miles an hour . I really would like to know what one is better for the parks. thanks

I think the best thing to do is just go try a few. There are so many makes and models and just because I like mine doesn't mean you will. There are different sizes, speeds, colors, options, prices. . .

Oh, well, that makes it more difficult. The place that was trying to sell you the shoprider-are they local? Was this the only one they had?

I am not familiar with the revo. I personally would go with ECV that goes the fartherst on a charge. I go to WDW quite often and like to stay all day at the parks. If you are traveling with others at the parks, speed won't matter. You will want to stay at a slow steady walking space with them anyway.

If I remember correctly info says my Celberty X will go 6 mph. A police officer clocked me doing 7 mph. Thought I was going to get a ticket:rotfl2:

Sunrunner 3 info says will do 5 mph.

Both says will go somewhere around 23 miles on a charge, or somewhere around that.

::yes::
3-4 miles per hour is more than your companions are going to be walking.
I'm in fairly good shape and can walk on the treadmill for 45 minutes at an average speed of 3.4 miles per hour. That's a workout, not a leisurely walk.

My DD's power wheelchair could go up to 6.5 miles per hour, but we had it programmed to go only 80% of that. When she is going full speed, I have to run to keep up.
