I did a search but the most recent thread I found was from 2012.

We have never stayed club level and are heavily considering do so in 2018. Any tips would be appreciated as well!

TIA!

I have never and am also interested in club level. I do know that BCV, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge all have club level...I assume all of the deluxe resorts do but I am not sure if it is available if you are staying on DVC points in the DVC rooms of these resorts. I believe it is available to the resort "hotel" rooms.
I am sure others here know more.

The only resort that has DVC rooms with access to club level is the Animal Kingdom Villas. There aren't many DVC rooms at AKV with club level access, so they can be difficult to book, even at the 11 month booking window.

5 lockoff 2 BR villas

Over the years there have been random reports of DVC guests being able to pay extra to access the concierge lounges at hotels which offer them. Grand Californian and Beach Club are two that come to mind. However the rates were high and the lounges are not conveniently located relative to the villas. And stories have gone both ways--some people claiming they were allowed to buy a concierge add-on and others claiming the resort declined to do it.

At Jambo the DVC contracts specifically prohibit the resort from selling this sort of add-on, presumably to help avoid overcrowding in the lounge. Only guests staying in those 5 club level DVC villas can have access to the AKV lounge.

All of the reports that come to my mind involved some type of issue and this was in part compensation.
